How Do Plan Vouchers Work?

A plan voucher is a prepaid digital voucher that gives you the right to access a specific data plan. It does not provide immediate mobile data—it must be attached to an Orbit eSIM and activated before use.

Key features of a plan voucher:

✅ Can be purchased in advance and stored for later use

✅ Remains valid for 180 days from the purchase date

✅ Can be transferred to another user before being attached to an eSIM

✅ After being attached to an eSIM, only activates when used for the first time in the designated country

1️⃣ Purchase a Plan Voucher

• Buy a plan voucher in the Orbit App or from a VIP Market partner.
• Review plan details, including coverage area, data allowance, and price.

2️⃣ Attach It to Your Orbit eSIM

• Before activation, you must attach the plan voucher to your Orbit eSIM.
• This links the plan to your device and prepares it for activation.
• Once attached, the voucher cannot be transferred to another user.

3️⃣ Activate by Connecting in the Designated Country

• The plan does not start counting down until you use data in the designated country.
• Once your device connects to a supported local network and uses data, the plan becomes active.

Vouchers remain valid forever. 

Once attached, Plans are valid for 180 days. 

Once activated, the Plan follows its standard validity:

• 30 days for standard plans
• 90 or 180 days if an extension was purchase

✅ Extensions: You can purchase a 90-day or 180-day extension during initial purchase and before activation. This extends the validity period after activation.

✅ Top-Ups: Once a plan is activated, you can add more data to it through a top-up in the Orbit App

✅ Yes! You can transfer a plan voucher to another user before it is attached to an eSIM. This allows flexibility if you purchased a plan for someone else.

❌ No transfers after attachment. Once a plan voucher is linked to an eSIM, it cannot be transferred to another user or device, but can be shared with other users.
